William Hahn
Macbeth

Was last scene as Oswald in the Denver Center Theater Company’s production of KING LEAR.  Prior to that he played Ralph in FROZEN at the Curious Theater Company.  Other recent roles include Jimmer in ESCANABA IN DA MOONLIGHT at the Aurora Fox, and eight very wet characters in METAMORPHOSES at the Avenue Theater.  Over the past few years he has been the recipient of Denver Post Ovation Award, The Rocky Mountain News “Top Of The Rocky” Award, Westword’s “Best Of Denver” and the 2006 Henry Award. 

He spends his nights sleeping on approximately 2” of a bed inhabited by a bulldog, a cat the size of a cougar, a Chihuahua with an attitude, and a very lovely lady named Heidi. 

 
Karen Slack
Lady Macbeth
Karen Slack most recently appeared in the Colorado Shakespeare Festival’s A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM as Titantia/Hippolyta and in JULIUS CEASAR as Cassius. In 2006, she received three nominations from the Denver Post, as well as the Henry Award for Best Ensemble for DOG SEES GOD. In 2005, Karen was awarded Top of the Rockies Top Actress by the Rocky Mountain News. Also in 2005, she was honored with Denver Post Ovation Awards for her work in OTHELLO, and THE SYRINGA TREE, as well as the Henry Award for Best Ensemble for THE WAR ANTHOLOGY. Karen received her training at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, and HB Studios in NY, NY. She has been blessed to work with some of Denver’s best theatres and people. Karen can be seen next in NINE PARTS OF DESIRE at Curious Theatre Company.

 
Josh Robinson
Macduff

Most recently Josh appeared with the Colorado Shakespeare Festival as Demetrius in A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM and Metellus/ Messala in Julius Caesar. In Denver, Josh has performed with the Denver Center Theater Company in SLABTOWN, GARBO IN MY EYES, and PICNIC as well as with Curious Theatre Company in APHRODISIAC, TAKE ME OUT, and THE LONG CHRISTMAS RIDE HOME. Josh also played for the Country Dinner Playhouse in MOON OVER BUFFALO, THE MOUSETRAP and TEN LITTLE INDIANS.  Favorite regional roles include Dr. Posner in WIT and the title roles in THE INTERROGATION OF NATHAN HALE and BILLY BISHOP GOES TO WAR. Josh is a graduate of Oberlin College and the Yale School of Drama and a member of Actor Group. All my love to Colene, Aidan & Fiona Claire.

 
GerRee Hinshaw
Banquo
A writer, actor and singer from Fort Worth, TX, GerRee has appeared on Denver area stages with Buntport Theater, Curious Theatre, Denver Children’s Theatre, The Bug Theatre Company, and The LIDA Project. Past productions include THE WAR ANTHOLOGY, FUCKING A, WHAT I DID FOR DIA DE LOS MUERTOS, HERE/AFTER, and MAGNETS ON THE FRIDGE. Most recently, she has participated in productions of Suzan-Lori Parks' 365 DAYS/365 PLAYS – including the very first play of the cycle: START HERE. GerRee hosts FREAK TRAIN every last Monday of the month (except December) at the Bug Theatre in northwest Denver. She would like to thank the letters K, M, and most of all, Y.

 
Tyee  Tilghman
Malcolm

Tyee has performed with multiple theatres around Denver, including the Aurora Fox, Avenue, DCTA, and Paragon.  He is an associate company member at Curious Theatre where he has performed such roles as Darren in TAKE ME OUT, and Eugene in YELLOWMAN. In Washington DC, he worked with such companies as Arena Stage, The Shakespeare Theatre, Renegade Theatre, VpStart Crow, The Source, and many others.  Favorite roles include Juan Julian in ANNA IN THE TROPICS at Aurora Fox, Jimmy in AN AMERICAN DAUGHTER at Arena Stage, and The Shooter in THE WAR ANTHOLOGY at Curious.  Tyee will appear next on Curious Theatre’s stage in THE DENVER PROJECT,  a world premiere written by Steve Sapp and Mildred Ruiz of Universes.

 
Joe Wilson
Duncan/Doctor

Joe's previous Shakespearean roles include Cornwall, Canterbury, Henry IV, Bottom, Prospero, Master Page, Leonato and Antonio.  Area performances range from THE ADVENTURES OF RAGGEDY ANN to ZOO STORY .  He has been seen locally on the stages of the Aurora Fox, Firehouse Theatre, Upstart Crow, Miners Alley, Everyman Theatre, Hunger Artists, and recently as Big Daddy in Vintage Theatre’s production of CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF.  Joe works with the Denver Police Department as part of the Crisis Intervention Training Program, portraying mentally challenged individuals as a means of helping officers discover options for non-violent incident resolution.  In his spare time he mystery-shops and taunts demented Oxfordians.

 
Trina Magness

Trina Magness has taught drama to young people and acted in Denver for 15 years. Notable roles include: Deborah Harford in A TOUCH OF THE POET, Debra in THE SMELL OF THE KILL, Lois in THE PERFECT PARTY Woman in TALK TO ME LIKE THE RAIN AND LET ME LISTEN (2007 Best of Westword "Best Actress in a Drama"), Aphrodite in METAMORPHOSES (2005 Best of Westword "Best Speaking Voice in Denver) and the title in MOLLY SWEENEY (Denver Post Ovation Nomination - Best Actress in a Drama). Trina is a founding member of both Uncorked Productions and Acting Group.

 
Lindsey Pierce
Witch/Lady Macduff
Since receiving her B.F.A. from the University of Colorado at Boulder, Lindsey has been living and acting in Denver, and occasionally saving up enough for a jaunt overseas.  She is a member of the No Holds Bard theatre company, recently playing Portia and Salerio in  MERCHANT OF VENICE and Gertrude and Polonius in HAMLET (no, not at the same time, although that probably would have been funny).  Other favorite roles include Alexandra in ON THE VERGE, a super-villain called THE STICKER in the live comic book tRUNks, and Lee/Yoshiko in the Denver Center’s Youth Tour of 1000 CRANES.  She wishes to thank Mitch, Karen and Geoff for the opportunity to be a part of this very cool experience, and her family, always.  
 
Robert Kramer

An accomplished Shakespearean director and actor, Robert is perhaps best known to Denver audiences for his performance as George in Miners Alley Playhouse's rendition of CHAPTER TWO, for which he received the 2005 Spotlight award for Best Lead Actor in a Comedy. Robert would like to his family for their continued love and support.

Young Macduff
At the young age of 8, Kellen McAdoo is a native of Colorado. He has spent his short, but fully packed life living in Highlands Ranch with his Mom, Dad and older brother, Austyn. Kellen begin modeling with Marbles Kid Management Inc, at the young age of 8 months and has loved every minute of it.  He has done numerous print adds, voice over commercials and this summer was lucky enough to be part of his first movie production for the movie SUBURBAN. Kellen has now been given the chance to join the cast of  MACBETH. Kellen has found that being involved in these wonderful productions gives him a chance to expend all of his 8 year old energy..which in turn makes his parents very grateful!!!
 
Jamie Romero

Jamie recently graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a B.A. in Theatre/Acting.  This summer she was seen in the Colorado Shakespeare Festival's AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 DAYS as Aouda and in ALL'S WELL THAT ENDS WELL.  Just recently she had the opportunity to perform as an understudy for the part of Marela in ANNA IN THE TROPICS at the Aurora Fox Theatre.
 
Jeff Garner

Jeff Garner hails from the orange groves of Southern California. As a child of the sixties, he was inexorably drawn to San Francisco and the quest for spiritual enlightenment and human potential through the use of mind expanding substances. This led to his completion of under graduate studies in psychobiology at UCLA where he fell in with bad companions that dabbled in the fine arts and soon he was hooked. Jeff worked in film, TV and theater in LA for ten years before coming to Denver and is so happy to be here. Regular theatre goers may have seen Jeff this year in DEAD MAN WALKING at the Denver Vic, A LESSER LIFE at the Rocky Mountain Playwrights Festival or in ANNA IN THE TROPICS at the Aurora Fox. “Love to Mary and my girls.”
 
Jeff Bull

Jeff Bull has been acting since playing Tiny Tim in A CHRISTMAS CAROL at age 8. More recently he has appeared as Renfield in DRACULA, Norris in SPECTRE, Oswald in GHOST STORY, Miles in REACHING FOR COMFORT and Edmund in KING LEAR. Jeff has also performed in many improv and Sketch Comedy shows, including "Simple is as Simple Does", "Little Women & the City", "The Haunted Hall", "Thanksgiving in Allenspark", and "Bob White's Holiday Special". Last year Jeff made the leap into independent film by writing, producing, directing, and starring in the short film "God in the Machine".
 
Sean Mellott
Donalbain
A Colorado native, Sean spent the past few years in New Orleans where he received his B.A. in Theatre and Political Science from Tulane University.  While there he performed numerous times with the Shakespeare Festival at Tulane, most recently as an ensemble member in Coriolanus and Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet.  He was also an active member Cripple Creek Theatre Company, a new theatre group working to promote social change in post-Katrina New Orleans.
 
Japser Ryckman

Jasper, a freshman at Denver School of Science and Technology, has appeared in many theatrical productions including A CHRISTMAS CAROL with the Denver Center Theatre Company, and the Henry and Ovation award winning production of ASSASINS with Next Stage Theatre company. He has also appeared in various commercials, including "Paperbot", in which he first worked with producer Mitch Dickman. In addition to acting, Jasper has also been playing the violin for 10 years and doesn't plan on stopping anytime soon. In his spare time he enjoys football, chess, and long walks on the beach. He hopes you will enjoy the show.

 
Seth Maisel

Seth is a Colorado Native who has just returned from a brief stint as a white water rafting guide.  Before that he appeared with the Colorado Shakespeare Festival as "Snug the Joiner" in A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM, and supporting roles in both JULIUS CAESAR and THE SERVANT OF TWO MASTERS.  Other favorite roles include "Brian" in the Denver Victorian's NO SEX, PLEASE (WE'RE BRITISH).  Seth would like to thank Robin and the Flaming Wok.

 
Benaiah Anderson

Benaiah Anderson has been working in the Denver area as a Fight Director and Stage Combat Instructor for three years.  His fight direction credits include productions of ROMEO AND JULIET, MACBETH, TAMING OF THE SHREW, and ROBIN HOOD.  Some of his acting work took him to Castle Rock where he played Van Helsing in Castle Rock Players' production of DRACULA, and El Gallo in CRP's production of THE FANTASTICKS.  He is very pleased to be joining this cast, and is looking forward to many more productive years in Denver.
 
Chris Kendall

Chris Kendall recently appeared at the Mercury Cafe in Howard Zinn's MARX IN SOHO. He was nominated for a Denver Post Ovation award for that production, and will be remounting it at the Merc late in November. Prior to that he appeared in the original production of Bob Buckley's AN EVENING WITH PENIS, also at the Mercury Cafe. He adapted Robert Cohen's short story "The Varieties of Romantic Experience" as a one-man show, which was produced at the Merc. New York roles include Puck in A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM at the Vortex, THE PUBLIC EYE at The Sanford Meisner Theater, and INTERNAL COMBUSTION at the No Name.

Geoff Kent

Geoffrey Kent's last directing endeavor was THE HOBBIT with the Backstage Theatre, to be remounted this spring at the Town Hall Arts Center. Better known as "The Fight Guy," Geoffrey is the resident Fight Director for the Denver Center Theatre Company, the Colorado Shakespeare Festival and Opera Colorado. Also an actor, Geoffrey recently appeared as Octavius in JULIUS CAESAR and the King of France in ALL’S WELL THAT ENDS WELL (his 5th season at CSF), Leslie in SEASCAPE with Modern Muse. Amy Cole
Stage Manager
Amy Cole (stage manager) is returning to Colorado after a two year visit to Massachusetts.  While there, she was a stage management intern on the world premiers of REAL HUSH-HUSH at Merrimack Repertory Theatre and THE ONION CELLAR at American Repertory Theatre.   Recently, she stage managed MERCHANT OF VENICE for Colorado Shakespeare Festival, THE KILLING GAME with Institute for Advanced Theatre Training at Harvard University and THE GLASS MENAGERIE with Boulder Ensemble Theatre Company.  Amy received her bachelor's degree from Whitman College, located in Walla Walla, Washington.
 
Brian Freeland
Sound and Graphic Design
Brian has designed sound for The LIDA Project, Paragon Theatre Company, Modern Muse, Shadow Theatre Company, and Curious Theatre Company where he is resident sound designer. He is a 2-time Henry Award nominee and 3-time Denver Post Ovation Award nominee for his sound designs. Brian is also the artistic director of both The LIDA Project and the new political theatre collective Countdown to Zero. 
 
Shannon McKinney
Lighting Designer
Shannon McKinney (Lighting Designer, USAA ) is a freelance lighting designer whose most recent work includes OUR TOWN at Indiana Repertory Theatre. She is a company member at Curious Theatre Company where designs have included TEMPODYSSEY, THE WAR ANTHOLOGY, and BUG. Other projects include ALMOST MAINE at the Aurora Fox and CABARET at the University of Denver. Shannon’s work has been seen in Chicago at Steppenwolf, The Goodman, The Court, Northlight Theatre, Drury Lane Theatre, and Lookingglass Theatre and at Atlanta’s Alliance Theatre. She received the Michael Merritt Award for Emerging Designer in 2000. Shannon was the assistant lighting designer on the Broadway productions of BURIED CHILD and the world premiere and national tour of PICASSO AT THE LAPIN AGILE. She teaches at the University of Denver and is the mother of three.
 
Tina Anderson

Tina Anderson has been designing and building sets in the Denver Metro area, for the last seven years. Her most recent sets include “Frog and Toad" at the Fox Theatre, “Dog Sees God” at the Avenue Theatre, “Noises Off”, “South Pacific”, “How to Succeed ”and “Ramona Quimby" at the Shwayder Theatre. "Footloose" at THAC. “The Dinosaur Play” at the Arvada Center. “Syringa Tree” and “Pure Piaf. Tina's design work is not limited to theatre. She is also involved in designing handbags, backpacks and soft sewn products and has sport bag line of her own known as Sfear. It is a privilege to work with this incredible cast and production crew. Annette Westerby
Prop and Costume Design
Annette is a well known local freelance artisan, working for Opera Colorado, Central City Opera, DCTC, Colorado Opera Troupe, Aurora Fox and one of the newest companies in Colorado, the Boulder Broadway Company.  An Associate Member of the Curious Theatre Company, she has been a part of the design teams of their productions of PARIS ON THE PLATTE, THE DEAD GUY, BUG, WAR ANTHOLOGY, FICTION, I AM MY OWN WIFE,  HOUSE WITH NO WALLS and HOW I LEARNED TO DRIVE.  She is looking forward to designing props and costumes  for their production of THE LIEUTENANT OF INISHMORE in the spring.  In Michigan, Annette worked professionally for over 20 years at major equity theatres, including the Meadowbrook  Theatre and Festival, The Birmingham Theatre, The Attic Theatre, and Michigan Opera Theatre. 
 
Anshuman Bhatia

Anshu Bhatia is a sophomore Theatre major at the University of Denver. Recent lighting design credits include PROOF, MALL MART (assisting Shannon McKinney), CABARET (assisting Shannon), ANTIGONE and. SEUSSICAL. In 2006 he won a student lighting design award from Barbizon of the Rockies. Upcoming lighting design projects include OTHELLO, SAVAGE LOVE and THE GOLDEN THREAD, all at DU. He aspires to eventually be an international professional designer.

 
Mare Trevathan
Publicity and Marketing
Mare Trevathan (Marketing/Graphic Design) has performed Inupiat folk tales in Barrow, Alaska; stage managed dance-theatre in Tokyo; and studied Chekhov in Vladivostok, Russia. Denver tamed her wanderlust and has been her home of six years. Currently she is the Interim Marketing Director of Curious Theatre Company; appearing in NIGHT HERON with Paragon Theatre; and memorizing lines for ALWAYS PATSY CLINE at Town Hall Arts Center and SLEEPING BEAUTY at Denver Children’s Theatre (also starring Karen Slack, a.k.a. Lady Macbeth and Jamie Romero, one of the Weird Sisters).
 
Chip Winn Wells
Dramaturg
Chip Winn Wells received her BA in Theatre and her M.Ed from the University of Illinois. Granted a Fellowship from the National Endowment for the Humanities, she studied Shakespeare in Performance in Stratford-on-Avon, England. As a licensed Media Specialist/educator, she has walked students and actors through the research necessary to write papers or perform roles. Dramaturgy credits include ARCADIA for the University of Denver and AS YOU LIKE IT for Colorado Mountain College. A Chicago native, this actor was lured to the West and resides in Glenwood Springs where Doc Holliday died and is buried.
 
Jeanette Cerami

Jeanette Cerami, originally from New Mexico, is a recent graduate from the University of Denver with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and International Studies. While at DU she worked on a range of shows from Asst. Lighting Designer for ROSENCRANTZ AND GUILDENSTERN ARE DEAD to playing Berthe in PIPPIN as well directing the student show PVT WARS. She has done work in children's theatre including teaching theatre workshops and directing the musical CINDERELLA'S GLASS SLIPPER.
